Our experience shows us that most of the problems that occur durig the working process are data transfer errors. That means network adapters, cable connections, slow computer due to old hardware or a lot of background activity. All this can lead to a connection loss or at least a slow and stucking operation of the ACAM device. Therefore you should not run ressource-intensive software while using ACAM. To these belong: certain screensavers, virus detection software, complex user interface of the operating system (like window animations etc.)

What to do, to accelerate the ACAM system:

• Use of the freeware virus scanner Microsoft Security Essentials

      Download: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ 

• Disable screensaver
• Use the Windows default Desktop scheme
• Connect the ACAM device to a second network card and deactivate all protocols except the TCP-IP V4
• Open only the programs that are needed for your work (e.g. NOAH, Fitting Software and ACAM).
• Start the WIndows Task Manager and check if ressource-intensive programs are working in the backgorund and deactivate them if needed.
