Delete/Export/Import:
Figure : Administration - delete/export/import tab |
The delete/export/import tab is found behind the system tab. This tab allows you to directly delete measurements or curves. It also allows you to export or import the ACAM System working memory to other databases. Individual curves or data cannot be exported or imported. The export/import function is helpful for saving data beyond the ACAM System and NOAH systems. It permits system backup, transport of data to other systems, and helps for any services required. Please refer to the section "Troubleshooting/Back-up" for more information. |
Delete Data:
Click on the data you want to delete and click <delete>. A security question will appear prior to the deletion of the data. Answer the security question and select <yes> and the selected data will be deleted. To delete all of the data from the ACAM System, select <delete all>. A message will appear to help prevent accidental deletion.
Export and Import:
Fig.: Data export |
All data to be exported and imported from the ACAM System will be saved with the file ending ".ACAM".
It is possible to save very large files and it is also possible to export very large files. This is done through the ACAM System switchable data compression. It is recommended that the file compression option is always selected. This decreases the amount of data by a factor of 100. Once a file has been exported the data is available, but cannot be changed. |

To import data within the ACAM System:
|
A warning message will appear before the actual import begins. This message prompts you that the import will overwrite the data available in the ACAM System.
The previously loaded data will be lost if you continue with the import; this means that only the imported data is accessible. |
Comment to the Export and Import:
Under rare circumstances, an uncontrollable system crash may happen under NOAH. This cannot be controlled. If you experience this, you can use the export and import functions to restore the data under NOAH. The procedure is described in detail in the section: "Troubleshooting."
Undo:
The undo function available in the ACAM System saves almost all working steps that led to data changes or recordings. Example: it is possible to detect the undo function by manually entering the tone audiogram. Following each click of the mouse, data storage occurs and an undo step would be possible.
The undo function always begins backwards: starting with the last working step, moving back to the startup of the ACAM System. Use the function <Undo all> with caution because it will undo every step that was stored in the system from its start-up.
