Windows Vista und Windows 7

The user management under Windows Vist and Windows 7 is stricter than in older OS.
After the installation of the software the user rights are setted for the currently loggedin user only. That means, that user right errors may occur, if another user is logged in. If necessary you can set uthe user rights for this user in the ACAM_Kal program. See also chapter User permissions.
With this operating systems you should enable the dialogue 'Master Volume über Hilfsprogramm' in the ACAM_Kal program under 'Sound card and Mixer'.

After the activation of this dialogue (see picture) the sound card is being supervised by the ACAM software and the mixer (loudness scale) is adjusted automatically.

If this option is not activated the sound cards are in a non-defined and non-calibrated status and therefore the ACAM system may not deliver correct measurement values.
