Please check if the ACAM system is turned on and if all control lights for the power supply are on. They can be found on the leftmost plugin module of the hardware case.

On this module 2 red and 6 green lights can be found. All green LED's must be on!

Please check the network connection: Is the network cable plugged-in and undamaged?

Fig.: Control Panel - The network cable was disconnected!

Please check in the control panel of your computer if the cable of the network card, which is responsible for the ACAM device, is marked as plugged-in and if the connection was  recognized by Windows.

Check the TCP-IP connection to the ACAM device:

Please choose now the option: 'Ping to adress'

Now click the Button 'Start Ping'.

After a short waiting time the result will be displayed:

  • ACAM system answered (Ping was successful)
  • ACAM did not answer (Ping was not successful).

If the Ping was answered (that means all packages that were send, were received with no package lost), please turn off the power supply of ACAM and wait for approx. 20 seconds and then turn on the power supply. Now please check if the ACAM system works as intended. If not please contact our Support-Hotline.

If the Ping was not answered (see figure to the side), the problem can probably be found in the network connection. Please check all the physical connection between the computer and the ACAM system. There may be router or switches in between the connection of these two. For testing purpose you can connect the ACAM system directly to the network port of the computer. If after doing these steps, the problem still exists please contact our Support-Hotline.
