Questionnaire

Within the ACAM System a series of questionnaires are available for use and printing; up to ten questionnaires can be evaluated.

The following questionnaires are available:

Oldenburg Inventory (21 questions)
Goeteborg Profile (20 questions)
APHAB (32 questions)
Abbreviated lists: Benefit and Reality (7/10 questions)

More questionnaires can be integrated into the system through the ACAM System updates.

Question lists can be divided into blocks. For example, the APHAB has questions regarding conversation in a quiet environment, conversation with background noise, conversation in reverberation. In later evaluations of the questionnaire, blocks can be summarized and evaluated together.

If a special questionnaire has been selected, it can be performed directly with the patient and then entered directly into the system. If you enter a questionnaire into the system, it can be printed and a copy can be given to the patient so that he/she can complete it by hand. The responses can be entered into the computer software at a later time (Figure ).

The Operation in Detail:

Left click on a specific question from the questionnaire. The question will be displayed in the lower left edge of the screen and the evaluation of this question will be shown.

Right click on a question and a selection menu will appear:

	Delete selected questioning: deletes the currently enabled questionnaire Delete all consultations: Deletes all 10 questionnaires Delete all and choose new questionnaire: All 10 questionnaires are deleted and the following menu is opened.
	This menu allows another questionnaire to be loaded and enabled.

Entering the Results of the Questionnaire:

Select the question response to be entered. The selected question will appear in red. Click in the question's result section. Select the category to be entered. Once a category has been selected the system automatically moves on to the next question so that another response can be entered. All question responses can be entered in this manner.

Supported Query:

Not programmed. This function is currently not available in the ACAM System.

Print Questionnaire:

It is also possible to print a questionnaire and give it to a patient for completion. A print out can be up to 6 pages long. The printed company log can be replaced by your own company logo. All entries will then be entered manually, as described above.

Evaluation of the Questionnaires:

Questionnaire evaluations can be performed in multiple ways. An evaluation can always be performed based on the first questionnaire which took place before the fitting; this would allow for pre and post fitting comparisons. A direct analysis can also be performed for each of the 10 questionnaires.

Line/bar display is based on the color legend, this allows for questionnaires to be distinguished from one another in a graphic display. The example to the left shows that the first questionnaire is coded in orange and the second questionnaire is coded in brown. The date and time when the questionnaires were entered into the ACAM System is also displayed.

Display options:

Absolute illustration: The absolute values are displayed (displayed as entered).
Illustration relative to first measurement: The difference between one question to the previous question is displayed.
Illustration relative to average results: From the questionnaire results, an average is generated and the differences are displayed.

Single: Every question is displayed as a single bar or a point.
In Groups: The groups are summarized and all values within a group are averaged.
Lines: Lines are generated.
Bars: Bars are generated.
As category: Categories are displayed (in our example the five available categories).
As Percent: The categories are converted into percentages. The example to the left shows 20% per category.
