Before the Fitting Begins:



Fitting: without the Hearing Aid sub-tab

The display for the Fitting Without hearing aid tab is shown below in Figure 173.

The measurement Without hearing aid is saved in three different memories.

The memory for the <first measurement> without hearing instrument

The memory for the <second measurement> without hearing instrument

The memory for the <third measurement> without hearing instrument


The measurement Without hearing aid begins by clicking <go>.

Table of <go> functions:

  • Click <go> or press the Enter key to start the actual measurement.
  • Once activated, the levels and signals are adjusted and the selected audio file begins to play. The number of correct or incorrect items can be counted. The corresponding totals will be displayed in the specific memory being used.
  • Click <go> again or press the ESC key to interrupt or cancel the measurement.


Important Advice

A special menu is available by right clicking the mouse over <first measurement>, <second measurement>, or <third measurement> (Figure 174).

The special functions menu has a series of options. Please refer to Figure  for further information regarding special functions.


  1. Memory Delete
    Deletes the selected memory (Memory #1 in Figure 174).

  2. Delete all memories
    Deletes all memories in this tab (All measurements without a hearing instrument in Figure 174).

  3. Delete complete fitting process
    Deletes the complete fitting process (Information from all tabs).

  4. Memory [current] to memory [current +1] copy
    Copies the current memory to the previous memory (Memory #1 to memory #2 in Figure 174)

  5. Memory [current] to memory [current -1] copy
    Copies the current memory to the following memory (This function is not possible in Figure 174 because no following memory is listed).

  6. Preset these settings for the fitting process.
    Applies the adjustments of the levels, signals, and loudspeakers to the entire fitting.
