When you want to play Sounds from the Fitting Software:

The ACAM System and the soundcard need to be connected in order for playback.

Example 1: to play sounds from soundcard 1

Configure channel 1 of the soundcard to the 12 o'clock and 10 o'clock speakers. Channel 2 of the soundcard is assigned to the 2 o'clock and 6 o'clock speakers.

Example 2: to play sounds from soundcard 2

Set source 1 and source 2 to soundcard 2. All of the settings Only source 1 and source 2 are set to soundcard 2. All other settings from Example 1 can be carried over.

When you want to play more Sounds:

As mentioned previously, when two soundcards are established four different sounds can be played from the ACAM System.

  • Start the first sound file on the first soundcard (the sound file "alert" is shown in the image to the left).
  • The playback is initially performed on both channels of the soundcard.
  • Move the balance slider all the way to the left to play the sound file through only one speaker.

  • Start the second sound file (the sound file "aquarium" is shown in the image to the left).
  • Move the balance slider all the way to the right.
  • This will play the first signal from the speaker at the 12 o'clock position and the second signal from the speaker at the 2 o'clock position.

  • Enable the second soundcard by clicking on the soundcard 2 tab.
  • Repeat the above listed steps to play sounds from soundcard 2.
