If you don't know the IP-adress of the ACAM system:
The used ACAM IP-adress is listed in the Registry folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ACOUSTICON\ACAM\System
Under 'IP' you find the adress of the ACAM system (see screenshot below)
The Default IP of the ACAM is 192.168.0.XXX, while XXX is different for every ACAM system. This number is engraved on the handhold of the processor unit module. The subnetmask is setted to 255.255.255.0
ACAM is also equipped with a serial interface. With this interface you can gather several informations about the system status, and also the current IP adress.

You can use a Hyper Terminal Program to see these datas. Below you can see screenshots of the Hyper Terminal Program integrated in Windows.

Change the IP-Adress of ACAM:
This is possible with every FTP file manager. The screenshots below show the changing of the IP with Total Commander (Shareware version). (http://www.ghisler.com/deutsch.htm).
Click on "FTP"

A list of FTP- connections appears. Choose 'New connection'

Fill in: Titel/Title: A name for the connection Servername: The IP adress of your ACAM device Benutzername/Username: ftp Passwort: ftp Server Typ: Automatic detection |
Now click 'OK' and establish the connection
If the connection was set up, you can see the files that are currently saved in the ACAM device.

Now copy the file 'CHIP.INI' from the device to your local computer. Open this fiel with the Editor.
Now you can fill in a new IP adress in the line: ADDRESS=
After you have entered a new IP adress copy the CHIP.INI file back to the ACA control unit.
If you now restart the ACAM system, the control unit has its new IP adress.
